Menu

Dinner from the kitchen at Seabreeze Bays Club, built around what comes off the river and out of the cane country behind town.

On the Board

What We’re Cooking

Our board leans on what’s landed at the river mouth and grown in the cane and macadamia country just back from town.

Barramundi’s rarely off the menu, and the soup changes with whatever’s come in from the hinterland that week.

We take dinner bookings on their own line — tell us if you’d like the table held on for cards afterward and we’ll note it.

A table set and waiting, chip trays lined up along the edge.

Barramundi

Pan-fried, served simply with greens and lemon.

Macadamia Pumpkin Soup

A hinterland staple, finished with toasted macadamias.

Lamingtons

Made in-house, the kitchen’s standing dessert.

Booking Dinner

How a Dinner Booking Works

  1. We book dinner separately from cards — say which one (or both) you’re after when you call.
  2. The kitchen stops taking orders around 9, well before the last of the card tables close for the night.
  3. A dinner booking doesn’t hold a seat at the tables — that’s a separate call, even for the same evening.
  4. We settle the bill for dinner at the table, before anyone moves through to the cards.
